Sam’s experience includes multiple facilities for LSU, the AgCenter, Our Lady of the Lake, TAF, school districts of EBR, Ascension Parish, West Baton Rouge, and St. James Parish, and the State of Louisiana.
Sam has served in leadership and board capacities for IFMA, A4LE, AIA Louisiana, AIA Baton Rouge, in addition to also being civically involved with Sunrise Rotary, Rotary District 6200, Junior Achievement, St. Vincent de Paul and Capital Area United Way. Sam is married to Angie Herpin, with three grown children. Sam is one of three owners of RHH Architects located in Downtown Baton Rouge with a satellite office in Covington. Since graduating from USL in 1983, Sam has worked on a wide variety of projects including governmental, educational, and commercial.
